Service Description

At Loquat Roots, I'm here to support you through your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. I offer a free 45-minute consultation where we can get to know each other and discuss your needs without any obligation to proceed with my services. **My Philosophy**: Your well-being is at the heart of everything I do, and my goal is to support you and your birth partner in having the birth experience you desire. I believe in embracing the unpredictability of birth while ensuring you are actively involved in your pregnancy and birthing journey. **Services Offered**: My doula services encompass comprehensive support from as early as 5 weeks into your pregnancy until 3 to 6 months postpartum. The services include three prenatal meetings, 24/7 labor and birth support, and two to three postpartum meetings. During the three prenatal meetings, we'll discuss your preferences for pregnancy and birth, explore comfort and movement techniques, and create a detailed birth plan together. If, after the initial meeting, you decide not to proceed with Doula services, there will be a $75 fee. The two postpartum meetings are designed to assist with breastfeeding, newborn adjustments, mental health check-ins, and provide support and resources for any questions or concerns. **Investment for Services**: To secure your spot on my calendar, there is a deposit of $650, with the balance of $1,350 due by the 37th week of pregnancy to ensure that finances are not an issue on your mind as you welcome your new baby. I understand the importance of flexibility during this special time, and I'm open to alternative arrangements, including payment plans and bartering as a form of payment. Additionally, for those in need, there is a charity called "It Takes a Village" that can help cover doula service costs.
